Estudio de clavicular placas gancho / Study of clavicles hook plate

A veces uno como residente de cirugia ortopedica y traumatologia, de ahora en adelante COT, tenemos que hacer investigación y eso de a veces es porque no siempre tenemos el tiempo para poder hacerlo, ya que dedicamos nuestro tiempo al hospital, a los pacientes, las guardias, quirófano y claro porque no, un poco de tiempo a nuestras propias aficiones. Claro otro factor importantes es que te guste investigar, que sepas hacerlo, que encuentres un buen tema y que alguien te oriente al respecto. Yo hace casi 1 año y medio encontré un tema que no se habia tocado anteriormente en el hospital, se trata de las fracturas distales de clavicula tratadas con la placa gancho, tengo ya el tema revisado, hize un pequeño estudio de revisión de casos e intentaré escribir los resultador y enviarlos a una revista este año a ver que pasa. Esto fue parte de mi domingo. Mañana guardia.

Sometimes an orthopedic resident has to do research and I say sometimes because most of the times we spend our life in the hospital with the patients, with shifts, operating rooms and why not our own hobbies? Another important factor is that you enjoy reserching, you know how to research, to find a good topic and to find someone who could be willing to orient you about it. Ive spent 1 year and a half researching about a topic never touched in the hospital, the use of the hook plate for lateral end clavicle fractures. Ive already have the topic reviewed but Im still in the writting process, lets see if any journal like the topic. This was my sunday and tomorrow I have a shift.
